Sweepstakes prize draw terms and conditions:
1. The Sponsor is: Boston Athletic Association whose registered office is at 699 Boylston Street, 8th Floor Boston MA 02116
2. The sweepstakes is open to residents of the United States and Canada who have an active and utilize their 130th Boston Marathon GivenGain fundraising page, except employees of Bank of America and the Boston Athletic Association and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the sweepstakes.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this sweepstakes.
4. By entering this sweepstakes, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. To participate, individuals must launch and maintain an active fundraising campaign for the 130th Boston Marathon on the official GivenGain event page at https://www.givengain.com/event/130th-boston-marathon during the Promotion Period.
Only funds raised through the participant’s official GivenGain fundraising page for the 130th Boston Marathon will be eligible. Donations received offline, including but not limited to cash, check, wire transfer, or any method outside of GivenGain, will not be counted for purposes of this promotion.
6. At the conclusion of the Promotion Period, the three (3) fundraisers who have raised the highest total amount of eligible donations on their respective GivenGain fundraising pages during the Promotion Period will be deemed the potential winners, subject to verification.
Prizes will be awarded as follows:
- Top fundraiser: One (1) $7,000.00 matching donation plus two (2) VIP Race Day Hospitality tickets
- Second-highest fundraiser: One (1) $6,000.00 matching donation
- Third-highest fundraiser: One (1) $5,000.00 matching donation
In the event of a tie, Sponsor reserves the right to apply a reasonable tie-breaking method, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
7. Only one entry will be accepted per person.
8. The promotion begins on March 12, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on March 12, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”). Only eligible donations received during the Promotion Period will be counted.
9. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, or unrecorded donations or fundraising activity, whether due to technical failures, platform issues, human error, or any other reason. Sponsor’s determination of fundraising totals and rankings is final and binding.
10. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or amend the sweepstakes and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Sponsor’s control. Any changes to the sweepstakes will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Sponsor.
11. The Sponsor is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this sweepstakes.
12. The prize is as follows: Three matching donations valued at $7,000.00 plus two VIP Race Day Hospitality tickets, $6,000.00 and $5,000.00. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
13. Winners will be chosen based on fundraising totals during the 24 hours of the incentive. All donations received will be verified by the Sponsor and/or its agents.
14. The Sponsor will notify the winners via email within 28 days after the end of the Promotional Period. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
15. The Sponsor’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the sweepstakes will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. The sweepstakes and these terms and conditions will be governed by US law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States of America.
17. Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes and/or acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its designees’ use of the winner’s name, likeness, image, voice, biographical information, entry, and statements attributable to the winner for advertising, promotional, and publicity purposes in any media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide, without further notice, consent, or compensation. Personal information collected from entrants will be used solely for purposes of administering the Sweepstakes and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy practices and applicable U.S. federal and state privacy and data protection laws. Sponsor will not sell entrants’ personal information and will not disclose such information to third parties except as necessary for the administration of the Sweepstakes, fulfillment of prizes, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.

In addition, they must be present at the Official Charity Partner Event on Giving Day at the Bank of America office (100 Federal Street) in Boston and submit their raffle ticket for a chance to win one of two $2,500.00 donations to your official charity partner.

8. The promotion begins on March 12, 2026 at 5:00:00 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on March 12, 2026 at 6:30:00 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”). After this date no further entries to the sweepstakes will be permitted.

2. The giveaway is open to residents of the United States and Canada, except employees of Bank of America and the Boston Athletic Association and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the giveaway.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this giveaway. For all entries offline, entries need to be submitted during the promotional time frame to boston@givengain.com and include first Name, last Name, email address, complete mailing address and phone number to be considered valid.
4. By entering this giveaway, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. To enter, make a donation of $50.00 USD or more to any 130th Boston Marathon fundraiser via GivenGain at https://www.givengain.com/event/130th-boston-marathon during the Promotion Period. Each eligible donation must be completed through the applicable fundraiser’s official GivenGain fundraising page for the 130th Boston Marathon in order to receive entries.
Donations made offline, by check, cash, wire transfer, or through any method other than GivenGain will not be eligible for entry.
6. Multiple entries are permitted. Each qualifying donation of $50.00 USD will constitute one (1) entry. There is no limit on the number of entries per person, provided each entry is obtained through a separate qualifying donation.
